PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBLIMATION/SCREEN PRINTS
SUBLIMATION TRANSFER PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS:
This is what works for me but there might
be another way that works best for you.
Make sure your shirt is light colored with at least 65% or more polyester: The more polyester the brighter the colors will be. 50% will be a vintage/faded look. Example: If you have a 100% polyester shirt once washed 100% of the ink will stay and if you have a 50% polyester shirt after washing only 50% of the ink will remain.
Turn your press on 385F
I press on MEDIUM pressure
You can rip around the transfer so it is not a perfect square but it is not required (be careful not to rip the design)
I then place my design on my shirt and press for 50 SECONDS once completed lift transfer and it is good to go!
Tip: Be sure to carefully/slowly open and close your heat press to make sure your transfer doesn't move or you will get a shadow on your shirt which is called "ghosting" The shirt I love and recommend is Jerzees dri-power SPORT which is 100% polyester but feels like cotton
**PLEASE CHECK UNDER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR THE LINKS TO THE SHIRTS**
325F FOR 7-15 SECONDS WITH HEAVY PRESS THEN HOT PEEL
THEY CAN GO ON ANY COLOR OR ANY KIND OF SHIRT.
